All three engine variants of the RS3 8V are covered: the CZGB with the EA855 engine (2015-2016), plus the DAZA (2017-2018) and the DNWA (2018-2020), both built around the EA855evo with a stock output of 400 PS. All power figures on this page are quoted in metric PS.

Audi RS3 8V Stage 1 and Stage 2: The Figures per Engine Variant
The DAZA and the DNWA leave the factory with 400 PS and 480 Nm, and since both run the same EA855evo, their stage figures match. Each engine variant still gets its own individually calibrated file:
- RS3 8V CZGB (2.5, EA855, 2015-2016): supported by the NGM App. The app reads your VIN and then shows you exactly which options are available for your specific car.
- RS3 8V DAZA (2.5, 400 PS, 2017-2018): Stage 1 up to 460 PS and 600 Nm, Stage 2 up to 500 PS and 650 Nm.
- RS3 8V DNWA (2.5, 400 PS, 2018-2020): Stage 1 up to 460 PS and 600 Nm, Stage 2 up to 500 PS and 650 Nm.

Audi RS3 8V Pops and Bangs: A Soundtrack to Match
An RS3 should be heard, not just measured. The separate Sound license activates the crackles function, better known as pops and bangs, on your RS3 8V. You can run it on top of Stage 1 or Stage 2 or completely independently of the performance stages. Like every NGM license it is a download tied to your VIN and installed through the same adapter and the same app. The sound functions follow the same rule as the performance maps: they are intended exclusively for use on closed tracks.
