Facelift models from model year 2024 onwards are listed as separate vehicles (new ECU required). TCU software installation is now possible for models manufactured from January 2022 onwards; however, a TCU bench unlock must first be performed by a tuning company.
No gearbox (TCU) software is available for this model; Stage 1 and Stage 2 cover the engine control unit only.
For flashing over the OBD port, this model additionally needs the OBDeleven 3 device with PRO plan (OBDeleven 3 PRO Pack). Audi S3 8Y Tuning: Stage 1 and Stage 2 from your phone
The Audi S3 8Y runs the 2.0 TFSI of the EA888 Gen4 family, 310 hp and 400 Nm from the factory. With the NGM App you flash calibrated Stage 1 and Stage 2 files yourself through the OBD2 port onto the engine control unit, with no workshop visit and no ECU removal. This applies to the S3 8Y built from 2020 to 2024. The facelift from model year 2024 with 333 hp is listed as a separate vehicle in the app and is announced, see below.

Audi S3 8Y Stage 1 and Stage 2: figures for pre-facelift and facelift

Note: All maximum power figures were measured with 102 octane fuel and represent the maximum achievable output.
Both stages come together in the All-in-One License for the engine control unit. You receive them as a download, locked to exactly one vehicle by VIN, and the app assigns the matching file to your S3 automatically.
Gearbox: On the S3 8Y up to model year 2024, the DSG (TCU) software is available for cars built from January 2022. A tuning shop first has to unlock the gearbox control unit once on the bench; after that the flash itself runs through the app. There is no gearbox software for the facelift from 2024, it stays engine only.
S3 8Y Facelift from 2024: control unit and OBDeleven
On the facelift Audi protects the engine control unit with SFD2. The license therefore includes a replacement control unit from NGM, and for flashing over the OBD port you additionally need the OBDeleven 3 with PRO plan, which releases the SFD lock before each flash. The device is not included and is ordered separately. There is no gearbox software for the facelift; Stage 1 and Stage 2 cover the engine control unit only. Audi S3 8Y pops and bangs: the Sound License
The separate Sound License adds pops and bangs on the overrun to your S3 8Y, together with exhaust valve control and the removed Vmax limit. Power stays stock. If you want Stage 1 and Stage 2 later, you only pay the difference to the All-in-One License through the upgrade.
